I'm a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Before starting Matherson Bookkeeping, I spent two years in a public accounting firm working alongside tax preparers and auditors, which gave me a clear picture of what clean, well-organized books actually make possible.
Before that, I taught for ten years. That shapes how I work: I'm responsive, organized, and patient with questions. I'd rather help you understand your numbers than hand you a report and disappear.
I'm based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where most of my local clients are, and I work with small business owners remotely too.
